BIGGEST CLASSICAL CONCERT IN BEIRUT IN 2004: MUSIC IN ME (Music in Middle East)
 

• Date: 19 November 2004
• Place: Saint Joseph church (Beirut)
• This event was organized in full collaboration and partnership with the Rotary Club of Beirut and Mr. Frans Wolfkamp, Director of “music in me” international (Music in Middle East), a Dutch Organization.
• Number of Attendees: 900 persons including 3 ambassadors, Television and major press presence.
• Rotaractors of Beirut Attendees: 85 %. 39 members of Rotary Beirut present.
• The Concert was directed by the Director of the Lebanese National Orchestra Mr. Walid Gholmieh with European instrumentalists playing.
•  “music in me” is an associate member of the International Music Council, an Independent NGO based at Unesco in Paris and is organizing fund raising concerts in the Middle East area with local partners.
•  “music in me” will be participating with the Rotaract Club, Rotary Club of Beirut and S.O.S Village to launch a program to teach music to needy children in S.O.S home with the fund raise.
