Joint Club service with Rac Zgharta

In order to strengthen the fellowship between rotaractors in Rac Beirut and Zgharta, Rotaract Beirut members, guests and friends packed their clothes for a weekend in Ehden under the hospitality of Rotaract Zgharta. After arriving to Ehden on Saturday night, Rotaract Zgharta welcomed Rotaract Beirut in Antoinette House (Rotaractor from Zgharta) and then headed directly to Pamplinus in Ehden where rotaractors from Tripoli and Tripoli Mina joined them for dinner. After dinner, all fellows decided to visit Al-Hosn Church to view shooting stars in order to make wishes come true and then went back to their new Rac Home in Ehden. It was with popcorn, DVDs, chess and cards that rotaractors from both Clubs entertained each other with loud giggles and funny jokes till the early moments of dawn. With the smell of Mankoushi, Rotaractors woke up in the morning running to the kitchen where P. Celine (Zgharta) was preparing the fresh manakish and several beverages. After Breakfast, Rotaractors from both club headed to Ehden Country Club to meet with Rotary Zgharta and then directly to Al-Hosn Church where they participated in planting a Cedar tree in the occasion of The Independence Day with a representative from the Municipality of Zgharta.  
The weekend was definitely a weekend full of great memories. We really enjoyed meeting our fellows in Rac Zgharta and through introducing both club members to each other, now we know, they will be definitely more motivated to participate in any Rac Zgharta project.
