Welcome Helena!

Target:
- Introduce Helena, the Swedish reporter on the various vocations of Rotaract
- Assist her in her report relating to the July – August 2006 war through the eyes of children.

Description
After a long google search, Helena, a freelance Swedish reporter approached The Rotaract Club of Beirut through its website to learn more about its activities during the war and ask for its support in her mission in Beirut. The Rotaract Club of Beirut was honored and prepared a program for Helena upon her requests and her preference. This program consisted of showing Helena traces of our community work related to the war through the renovated art rooms in Beirut suburbs and assisting her as translators in her interviews with kids who lived the war up close and personal. Moreover, in order for Helena to feel the Rotaract spirit, we invited her to participate with us in our Tripoli Industries day which featured several professional sessions and a club service.

Few days back, Helena once again arrived to Lebanon in a new assignment and before she lands in Lebanon, she emailed the Rotaract Club of Beirut which proves to everyone that thank God we did excel in transmitting the best image of Rotaract.
