After the crisis hit our beloved country Lebanon, The Rotaract Club of Beirut members, guests and friends felt the urge to help all the displaced refugees who came from the south of Lebanon and from the Beirut suburbs to find a shelter, a new safe home in the private and public schools of the capital. Therefore, we gathered financial funds from our families, friends and colleagues to share all the expenses required to cover their basic needs.
We gathered 600$ in which we bought canned food, diapers, milk, water, Kleenex and detergents. These supplies were distributed to Omar al Farooq School and Karm El Zaytoun both situated in Beirut. Pictures with the refugees were not taken based on their sensitivity to their current situation and cameras in such moments of crisis.
